OpenAI has launched Sora, a brand-new iOS app powered by the Sora 2 AI video and audio generation model. With Sora, you can create and remix AI-generated videos, explore a personalized feed, and even drop yourself into scenes using the new Cameos feature.
On launch, Sora quickly went viral — hitting 56,000 downloads on day one and climbing to #1 on the U.S. App Store. The app is invite-only for now and available in the U.S. and Canada, with plans to expand globally.
