Stop Siri from reading notifications through AirPods
If you notice voice alerts while wearing AirPods or supported Beats headphones, the same Announce Notifications setting controls Siri’s spoken announcements.
Turn the feature off to stop Siri from reading incoming notifications through your headphones. You can also use the app list within the announcement settings to choose which apps can announce notifications. Apple’s headphone notification guide.
